A key figure in the Highways Sector Council (HSC) and former development director at Mott MacDonald, Anna Delvecchio has taken up a partner level role at professional services giant EY.
Ms Delvecchio worked as development director in transportation for almost three years at Mott MacDonald, having moved there after a seven year stint in Amey.
Having come to prominence through working on a sector deal in rail, Ms Delvecchio became a significant figure in the creation of the HSC.
While plans to create a sector deal for highways fell apart due to changes in government policy, the HSC has become a central organisation in the sector - taking over from the former Highways Term Maintenance Association.
Announcing the news on LinkedIn, Ms Delvecchio said: 'What an exciting time, I have joined EY as a Partner - Government and Infrastructure. I'm looking forward to meeting the team and reconnecting with many colleagues, friends and clients over the coming months. Thank you Mott MacDonald for 2+ years. What a great family you have been.'
