This has led to the creation of a bespoke, fully digital ‘purchase to pay’ process that our customers can use from the second they start placing an order with us, through to its fulfilment, the collation of waste data, analysis of that data, and then lastly, invoicing.

Reconomy’s digitalXchange has been developed for use by our network of 1,000+ supply chain partners to improve the transfer of information, limit duplication and minimise the risk of human error. Through digitalXchange, Reconomy suppliers can seamlessly integrate their back-end programmes with our own systems, enabling fast, dynamic two-way data transfer. This means that new orders placed by Reconomy’s customers can now be automatically, digitally, and securely passed across and assigned to the appropriate supply chain transport teams, without the need for any manual intervention.
