ATLYST
ATLYST
ATLYST will revolutionise the way you visualise, analyse and share traffic data. MetroCount’s new web-based data analytics and survey management tool automates data validation against user-set parameters, and report generation yet allows for full control and data ownership. Easily manage vast survey programs, visualise your traffic data on an interactive map and store all your datasets in the Cloud for secure archiving or updating at any time. ATLYST is powered by and compliments our renowned MTE® Software.
RoadPod® VM
RoadPod® VM
The RoadPod® VM patented magnetometers are small, unobtrusive and off-grid vehicle counters that provide real-time data on traffic movements. The RoadPod® VM: - Is installed within 60 seconds with no cutting or grinding of the road required. - Gives year-round, individual vehicle data in real-time including volume, speed, length, class and gap. - Securely transmits all information via the Cloud to ATLYST®. - Delivers reliable and accurate data as expected with all MetroCount products. RoadPod® VMs work in an array to accurately count vehicles, monitor speeds and classify vehicle type based on the length of each passing vehicle. Gap and headway information is also available and all data is precisely time-stamped.
RoadPod® VT
RoadPod® VT
Combining over 20 years of development, the RoadPod®VT represents a huge leap forward for portable traffic counters. Storing up to 4 times more axles, with data downloading 6 times faster, and a power efficient battery that lasts 5 times longer*, the RoadPod®VT saves time and money without compromising the reliability that MetroCount has become known for. *When compared to the performance of the MC5600 Series.
RoadPod® VT4
RoadPod® VT4
The VT4 system enables short-term, comprehensive data collection from all lanes of busy traffic highways. Using four pneumatic tubes, one counter can simultaneously collect data from two neighbouring traffic lanes. The two data communication channels are set up together but collect data from individual lanes. During the setup, a strict lockdown is introduced to block data from the short tube lane from also being recorded by the long tubes. The two lanes of traffic are further distinguished during the unloading process, resulting in two highly accurate and comprehensive datasets.
RoadPod® VP
RoadPod® VP
The RoadPod® VP offers the highest level of detail for a permanent traffic survey system. This device has been refined over the years to provide quality data which, when combined with the MTE software, provides a flexible, long-term monitoring solution. During installation, the piezoelectric sensors require only two shallow and narrow cuts in the pavement. The flexibility and lightness of the piezoelectric strips enable them to comply with a range of road profiles, ensuring durability and reliability.
RoadPod® VL
RoadPod® VL
MetroCount’s inductive loop systems are built from simple and affordable components. Besides enabling an easy and accessible installation, the MC5810 can also connect to loops already embedded on the road. Contractors familiar with traffic signal sensors will find the setup particularly effortless. RoadPod® VL 5810 offers a set of diagnostic tools bundled in the MTE software. Loop Scope provides feedback on the condition of loops. Meanwhile, Loop Monitor tests connections and crimp terminals. Together they identify any faults in the setup process and supply a full diagnostic of the equipment. It may be possible to retrofit a RoadPod® VL to an existing inductive loop system/ Be sure to ask the MetroCount team.
RidePod® BT
RidePod® BT
Unlike competitor products, the RidePod® BT uses thin-walled pneumatic tubes as sensors that can detect non-magnetic vehicles (such as carbon fibre bikes) and e-scooters/bicycles travelling in tight groups. The system collects axle data from bike lanes and shared paths and is then analysed by our MTE software, running the axle information through optimised algorithms. This provides extremely accurate and reliable data, making the RidePod BT the world’s most trusted active mobility counter.
RidePod® BP
RidePod® BP
Extracting bicycles, e-scooters and pedestrians from a stream of similar objects is a unique challenge. Engineers at the MetroCount R&D facility in Australia have applied their expertise in piezoelectric sensor technology and developed an all-in-one solution that is reliable and consistent. The system is robust and will record accurate statistics year-round, in extreme conditions, without the need for regular maintenance. The resulting data is processed in the MTE® software, which offers incredible flexibility and a wide range of data reports.
